In many of my articles on Substack and elsewhere, I’ve taken aim at many idiots and idiocies, and I would like to formally extend an open invitation to anyone I have targeted, or anyone who may wish to disagree with me, on any subject whatsoever, to come and argue with me. What could be more fun?
Since I am an avowed atheist, secularist radical, and utterly opposed to all reigning dogmatisms, I think many people will disagree with me on many issues. I invite you to look through all the articles I have published on my Substack and elsewhere (links below) and, if you have any issues with me and would like to discuss further, please get in touch (by commenting, tweeting, emailing, or however) and I’ll be more than happy to engage, whether through the Den Discussions I host on this Substack or otherwise. Any such debates should be recorded at both ends and agreed on by both parties before publication.
My aim with this post is to encourage those who disagree with me to argue with me publicly—I cannot promise to be kind to you, but I hope to be fair to you, and would dearly like to meet up (most likely virtually) to hash out whatever issues we may have. There is no need for politeness or civility, only principled argument, and I invite personal attacks because, you may rest assured, I shall not hesitate to employ such attacks against you.
En garde &c.

You may agree with this, but in case not, I'm willing to argue Spinoza (1632-1677) was the greatest atheist ever - the most influential and the one contemporary non-believers owe the most.

Good god, truly the age of chivalry is gone! That sensibility of principle, that chastity of honour, which felt a stain like a wound, which inspired courage whilst it mitigated ferocity, which ennobled whatever it touched, and under which vice itself lost half its evil, by losing all its grossness. I despair!
